Install BASI

BASI installs from the browser as an app. No app store needed.

Android (Chrome)

  1. Open this site in Chrome and sign in.
  2. Tap the menu (⋮) → Install app (or Add to Home screen).
  3. Open BASI from your home screen. It runs full-screen like a normal app.
  4. In Settings → Notifications, tap Turn on so reminders reach you when the app is closed.
  5. Allow the microphone the first time you talk to it.

Once installed, BASI appears in Android's share sheet: share a link, text, photo or PDF from any app straight into a conversation.

iPhone (Safari)

  1. Open the site in Safari and sign in.
  2. Tap Share → Add to Home Screen.

Push notifications on iPhone need iOS 16.4 or later and only work from the home-screen app.

Desktop

In Chrome or Edge, click the install icon in the address bar.

What the installed app can and can't do

  • Can: voice and text chat, memory, tasks, reminders with notifications, missions that run on the server, share-to-BASI, offline drafts.
  • Can't: listen when the app is closed, read other apps' screens, or control other apps. Browsers don't allow that — and BASI won't pretend otherwise.

Native Android app

A native companion (system-wide voice, screen help you trigger yourself, biometric confirmations) is planned. There is no APK yet, so there is no download button here. When a signed build exists, this page will list its version, size, SHA-256 checksum and install steps.
